PVB RESIN
Polyvinyl Butyral Resin
General Information:
This synthetic organic polymer is a member of the central family of resins produced commercially through the reaction of polyvinyl alcohol with butyraldehyde. polyvinyl butyral (pvb) properties including high tensile strenght, impact resistance, transferenciy and elasticy. PVB resins are used in general industrial and wood coatings, wash primers, ceramic sunstrates, combosites and structural adhesives, and gravure or flexographic inks. Aslo it is particularly suitable as an adhesive film interlayer in laminated safety glass (LSG) in automobile windshields and architectural safety glass.
