Zinc Tetroxy Chromate is an Anti-Corrosive Pigment used to manufacture Anti- Corrosive Primer Paint Systems.It is yellow in colour. Primers based on this pigment impart very good bonding properties to subsequent Coats. As compared to Zinc Yellow, Zinc Tetroxy Chromate is reactive to a lesser extent with acidic vehicles.
This is a specialized pigment and is meant for use in Wash/Etch Primer coatings which offer excellent adhesion to paint systems on non-ferrous metals like tin, aluminium and galvanized iron substrates.
These Products are used in the manufacture of Synthetic enamels and is highly recommended for Epoxy primers, Marine coating, Unicoat coating, Eatch Primers, Coil coating etc.
