Chemitac 31B is a heat reactive for bonding elastomer like FKM with steel, aluminum, aramid, textile fibers and glass by vulcanization process. The textile fibers can be: Cotton, cellulose, polyamide, polyester, and aramid. Chemitac 31B is also used as an adhesion promoter between FKM and CSM, ECO or EPDM compounds in tubing parts production, for this application is necessary to apply Chemitac 26 adhesive over Chemitac 31B. Chemitac 31B is a heavy metals free product.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

1- Non-volatile solids (2h @ 70°C): < 16,5%

2- Specific gravity at 25°C: 0,856 g/cm3

3- Viscosity Brookfield at 25°C: 3 cps - #2 spindle @ 30 rpm.

4- Viscosity Ford Cup # 4 at 25°C: 10 s.

5- Diluents: MEK / MIBK/ Ethanol 99º GL

6- Bonding Temperature Range: 150 a 200ºC

7- Shelf life: 6 months (closed can below 25ºC).
